Burnt Art Hub Code of Conduct

Be the kind of community member you'd love to connect with!

We're all here to create, learn, and grow together. This community thrives when everyone brings their best, most positive self to the table. Think about the kind of support, feedback, and encouragement you'd love to receive—and let’s all make sure we're putting that same energy back into the group.

Our Guidelines:

  1. Be Respectful and Inclusive
Treat everyone, regardless of their skill level or background, with respect and kindness. We welcome different perspectives and experiences. Everyone’s art has value, and we respect both new and seasoned artists equally.

  2. Support Each Other
This is a place to lift each other up. Whether by sharing techniques, offering constructive feedback, or celebrating successes, we aim to create an environment where everyone thrives.

  3. Celebrate Diversity
The Burnt Art Hub is a space for artists of all styles, cultures, and viewpoints. We believe in the power of art to connect people from all walks of life. Let's honor and appreciate the diversity in our community.

  4. No Bullying, Harassment, or Discrimination
We have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, harassment, or any form of discrimination. This community is a safe space for all, and everyone has the right to share their art without fear of judgment or mistreatment.

  5. Constructive Criticism Only
When offering feedback, keep it kind and constructive. Remember that our goal is to help each other grow. Be mindful of the language you use, and offer suggestions in a way that uplifts rather than discourages.

  6. Promote Collaboration and Learning
We encourage members to share their knowledge and skills. Whether it's through promoting your classes or offering free tips, our community thrives on mutual learning. This is a space for growth—both as an artist and as a member of a vibrant, supportive community.

  7. Share, Don’t Spam
We love seeing your work! Feel free to share your creations, promotions, or classes—but be mindful of the frequency. Our focus is on genuine engagement and support, not self-promotion overload.

  8. Positive Vibes Only
Keep the energy positive. We are all on our own creative journeys, and this space is meant to uplift and encourage. If you have concerns or issues, reach out privately to the admins rather than airing negativity in the group.

  9. Welcome New Members
Every new artist or member is an important part of our community. Whether they are just starting their wood burning journey or have been practicing for years, let's make everyone feel welcome and valued.

  10. Contribute to the Community
The Burnt Art Hub is only as strong as its members. Share your knowledge, ask questions, participate in discussions, and be the community member you would like to meet.

  11. Respect Intellectual Property
We’re all about creativity and originality! If you’re inspired by someone else’s work, make sure to give them proper credit. Sharing someone else’s art without permission or claiming it as your own is a no-go. Let’s protect each other’s hard work and creative efforts.

  12. Respect Privacy
We want the Hub to feel like a safe, supportive space. That means respecting the personal boundaries and privacy of your fellow members. What’s shared in the Hub should stay here, unless you’ve been given permission to share it elsewhere.

  13. Keep Discussions on Topic
Let’s keep our conversations focused on wood burning, art, and creative growth. Off-topic posts that are not in the Lively Banter thread might be removed so we can maintain a space that’s all about artistic inspiration and learning. We want this Hub to be your go-to place for everything related to wood burning art!

  14. No Political Discussions
The Burnt Art Hub is all about art, creativity, and community. To keep things positive and focused, we ask that you leave political discussions at the door. Let’s keep this space centered on our shared love for wood burning and creativity!

Remember:

We all get what we put out there. Think of your dream “community member” and BE that person in this group. Let's work together to create an inspiring, supportive, and welcoming space for all wood burning artists to grow and thrive!
